I've had one Optima red top for 11 years almost, it's been in numerous trucks that I've had during that time, now powers our '05 GMC crew after the Delco 84-month went 32, sucker.

I've heard from a few parts guys that quality issues exist with the red tops due to excess demand by the US military...opinion or fact I can't confirm. There are numerous posts elsewhere about the Yellow tops, Pirate for example. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm sold on my old Optima and will be buying some more, gotta' support my Fleet.
