I used to have my CB mounted like this:



As I got older, though, I couldn't lean back far enough to read the display. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> Also, the mic and cord seemed like they were always in the way. Also, I like having the sunroof off whenever possible, and this setup precluded that.

I ended up putting this radio (a Cobra 25) in my two rig, and took the tow rig's Uniden 520 and mounting it in the dash where the switches are in this photo (just above the CD player). I attached the mic mount to the side of the plastic hump cover, right in front of the driver's seat. I love this setup.
