Jeep is banking on their name to sale vehicles. If you've noticed, for a while almost all of their vehicles had the "Trail Rated" badge on them. Now only a select few have them. Now they are producing soft roaders that don't even have a transfer case but are being purchased because people want a "Jeep". Can't blame them for going where the money is to stay in business though.

Sometimes the views of the local dealers don't reflect the views of the company as a whole and we as consumers get stuck in the middle.
