I picked up a SM465 from a 1990 Chevy 3/4 ton. I was wondering if anyone knew if the slave from the SM465 would work master from my 87 YJ. Does anyone know the bore size or displacement of the master cylinder from the YJ and chev? One out of 3 part store computes said they were the same but that isnt enough

If you already have them why not hook em up and mash on the pedal? Big JIm <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

If looking up the two slaves whatone needs to find would be the cubic centimeter capacity of each. I'm pretty sure the Pressure created by the stock master would suffice for either. But a simple test to see how far the rod extends from one pump would prolly be just as good. If the capacity of the new one is greater than the old one it may be possible to relocate the new one so the extended rod length would work.
