It is going to be just about impossible to find a new 22re here in the states, the 22re was never produced stateside, so any available will be in Japan, not to mention the fact that the 22r block hasn't been sold new here in over 13yrs, and I am not sure when the motor was stopped as a production motor over seas.

Why the desire to pay through the nose for a pristine 22re when you can build one using all new parts(except crank and block), for less than half of what you are going to pay for a new engine, if and when you can find an all new OEM 22re.

If you have $5k trying to burn a whole in your pocket just buy an already built-up new engine from LCEngineering. Not really worth the money IMO, but to each his own.
