thank you for all the help guys i reall appriciate it and bj i found out what the iac is its right there in the throttle body i sprayed the trottle body out rally good with some carb cleaner and it seemed to help alot but not fix the problem i talked to a local mechanic i know and he said i need to clean the iac with mass air flow sensor cleaner cause everything else is to corrosive so i will do that today when she gets back for class. now on to the fuel filter it does have one in the tank but its only the sock filter that is on the bottom of the fuel pump. it also has an external filter that is located on the body pretty much right over the rear axle right? cause it has some sort of filter there and it looks exactly like a fuel filter if you ask me. and on changing my axle shaft would it be beter to buy new or used? i know that probably sounds like a dumb question but i know a guy that runs a small used car dealership and is in really good with a good junkyard and he can get parts pretty cheap and i didnt know if it would be a bad idea or not to just see of he can get me a used one from them or not. cause a new one isnt to expensive auto zone has one for around a hundred bucks but with me being the only one workin for now and we have 3 kids the cheaper the better. so any advice will help

thanks so much for all the help guys
