The oilfilter thing is surprising. Every number I've been able to come up with says that the filters for the 2.5 and 2.8 are different. But you've already used the 2.5s filter on a 2.8?

The fuel filter is the same acc to my numbers, and you've found the same. Good. Also, air filter is also showing the same, so when you go to get one, just check out stickied numbers above, for the 2.5 air filter.

Too bad about the screw in frost plug heater. I was really hoping that would work. I'll have to check the temro app's to see if a 50mm would work somewhere else. Have you put any pre-heating plans in place yet?

As far as the seal, where are you finding it, and do you have a part number for it? Any chance you took any pics as you were replacing it? Is it much of a job? Any specialized tools needed? Does the pump need to be retimed after?
