Getting the Wheeling Fever

So I just dropped in a used 22re into my 85 pickup. When I turn the key I can only hear the starter solenoid clicking, but no turn over. Doesn't have a clutch start cancel. I had to put on a new slave cylinder in so no clutch pressure right now (don't know if that has anything to do with it). All electrical hooked up, battery charged, grounds look good, starter is good.
