I would not worry about trying obtain a permit, If you just mind your own business and respect the trails law enforcement will not harass you.

I am going down that way this weekend, I will let you know what the snow looks like on the La Salles. I am going to go hit up some trails on the San Raefel Swell.

Well I just got back from Moab and the San Rafeal Swell and the La Salle Mountains are still snow capped. Otherwise everything else was great. Temps were in the mid 60's and no wind which is amazing for Moab at this time of year. I am hoping to make it down to Moab 5-6 more times before the summer heat sets in because I love it down there.

I may tag along for awhile. Right now Im in the middle of this VW build. Money seems to be going out way faster than I can bring it in. Plus its assembly time, a little more hands on for me. You should stop by and look at your truck while your here.

Lots of rain this weekend. Sure the little deloris creek is too high to cross at sand flats. Probably lots of mud everywhere else. Did you guys decide to stay in AZ?

I was watching an episode Matlock tonight when I got a call from Patric. Seems they had a little mishap on the Deloris. I drove to Cisco Utah to meet up with John. Sent him on his way back to Moab with a new ECU for Patric. Hope it works out for them. I hear there is video of the event.
