5.56 is not always easy to find, but if you can find military spec stuff, usually the old version of the round, you get a little better round that is spec'd for combat, higher velocity and including better flash supprecant.


I live in Texas...no ammo is hard to find...it is just getting outrageously(sp?) expensive.

CMMG, or Stag Arms are 2 of the best bang for your buck ar platforms. I bought a rifle from CMMG about 6 months ago, and love it. Do yourself a favor, and start stocking up on 30 round mags.

Why I keep hollows in my pistols...And anyone breaking into my house to steal a tv OR threaten my life is getting blasted....they are threatening your safety(life) just by being in your home without permission.

And I guess I don't really need to see the results of the poll cause I didn't know that .223 and 5.56 were pretty much the same.
