Wagonmaster you are certainly giving me a lot to consider; what type of jump seat would you use? What model/platform do you think would have something that could be made to work in a SWB? Having had, and loved, the SWB Raider, I would be very intersted in this idea too, and also opens up the search parameter from just LWB Gen I's to SWB as well.

Here's some pics to get the juices flowing:

This is the driver's side rear of a Raider, with the side panel out and the carpet up. The square in the middle is where the 2nd row belt would sit, bolted down into the top of the wheelwell. The upper right corner looks like it may have been an ashtray option, perhaps.

Here you see the upper rear panel, with the 2nd row nut on the right, and a discoloration of the panel right above my finger.

Behind the panel, you'll find this hole, which (you'll notice) looks alot like the hole in the LWB version.

Unlike the LWB, the Raider uses this hole as an attachment point for the panel.

If it were to be drilled out to 14mm (from the 6.3 that it is now), and a REINFORCED seatbelt nut were put there, then the belt would fit like this:

While the belt roller would fit here:

And the bottom would bolt down here:

This could be done with all of the original 2nd row stuff in place, as it needs none of it.

I'll get some pics of a jump seat set-up tomorrow ('cause I'm kewl like that). <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
