A few things for my situation...

1. My SWB rarely has full grown people in the second row.
2. The jumps will be for kids mainly, when bringing my kids' friends on day trips.
3. With my Gen II third rows in the second, I can squeeze out upwards of two inches of space behind them.
4. The Gen II jumpers can be reclined, and hence can be brough up a little when the space is needed in the rear.
5. I am going to cut the top off altogether, which will gain some space at the very back where the rear pillar tilts to the front. (Which will be offset some by a rollbar.)

Bottom line, yes, the space it minimal. But again, theydid come that way overseas. So it is possible, albeit with come compromise.
