Looks to me like possibly a 4D56. IIRC, the D50/Mighty Max didn't come with the intercooler. Everything looks factory, so I'd guess they brought in a cut half and swapped everything over.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying a factory diesel Monty back around '90. Had the speedo in KPH and jump seats behind the main rear seat. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I don't think it had a turbo, though, because I remember thinking I could swap one from a Mighty Max.
