Having used the 33" Mudstar tires up on Emigrant Trail in the snow this past January and watching Russ and Joanna with their BFG A/T's, I'd not run a mud tire. Russ and Carlos aired down at the beginning of the trail, Joanna and I aired down at the end, when we turned around. Russ and his Toyota simply went farther than I could with my Raider. I've had BFG A/T's on two other vehicles, my crashed silver Montero and my '77 Dodge. Both performed well with moderate to deep snow.
