BFG 10.5 x 31s A.T.s . I lived up there in Cow Town for six years and went up hwy 88 and F.S. 7 out of Pollack Pines, all around the Consumnes River valley. I used both mud and ATs when I was up there. No need for Muds in that country.
I pasted big dodge trucks stuck in the snow on those unplowed roads, I past them all up with my ATs. The only time I got stuck was in the spring when the snow changes cfrom "dry snow" to snow cone snow. It packed under the fuel tank . That's all that ever stopped them.

Living up there with all those Psycho drivers A.T. would be safer by far for traction avoiding those nuts.
