Ok well tell me what terms are confusing you? Ill try to reiterate my position again

Replacing in tank sending unit
Hard lines that connect to the top of it have been snapped and snapped VERY close to the top of the sending unit leaving insufficent room for a splice of the hard lines to happen there
Waiting on a new and hopefully complete sending unit
Do the lines just disconnect farther up so that I can disconnect them and replug them into my new sending unit?
