When I took my truck to the dealer to have the steering recall done, they were helpful enough to let me know of some important maintenance that needed to be done as well- they said my fuel filter really needed to be changed. Strange that they would come to that conclusion, since I had recently swapped a diesel in, and the filter was just fine...

I think they were just trying to drum up some business. Something tells me they wouldn't have had the correct filter in stock- I should've taken them up on the offer, just for the fun of it! (Not that you shouldn't pay attention to what they said... but at least keep their possible motives in mind).
