Perhaps it would be cheaper, for both of you, if you co-drive Reuben's Miata. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Cars in the 3500 lb range are pretty rare to see on track, and they're always driven by guys who have a lot more coin than me. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> What really sticks out in my mind is that despite the Supra's awesome reputation as a street car, I have never seen one turning laps at an HPDE. I have seen some porky cars though, a 350Z, lots of 3200 lb Corvettes, but then again a lot of those guys don't push their cars very hard, so they don't run through tires & brakes as often as they can afford to. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> And I did see one track-prepped Cadillac CTS-V, which is a 3800 lb car, but the guy had taken out some unnecessary weight and was running Hoosier R6s.


My dad instructs for a big Mazda group, and I try to make their events so I get to meet up with him. They usually do at least 2 weekends at VIR every year. When they release the 2009 schedule, I'll let you know when I'll be down there. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
