a few years ago I burst a one month old new rubber line when I had to hammer on the brakes...it wasn't OEM though. but same story, could have just been a defective line. which could happen with anything if you think about it.
But yea I would say new rubber lines could be a bit more trustworthy. but Goodrich stainless lines are supposed to be awesome and should handle more than enough pressure.

yeah, I know that, he knows that too, he is my brother, I am just trying to get him to order his gears b/c I know he will need them in the heat and they do have much benefit on the trail, I don't use my brakes nearly as much as I used to on the trail.
on the highway is a different story, you just have to plan your stops a little farther out and give your truck more time to come to a stop that is all, more sensible driving, its not a sports car with 35s.
stronger brake lines won't allow for better stopping power, as long as your factoy lines are in good shape and not dry rotted or something, they shouldn't fail. the ability of your brakes is determined i would think by the size of the rotor and pad and how much pressure the cylinder can apply, not by the strength of the lines.

Plus if you're able to lock up brakes having stronger ones won't help you.
Being able to better modulate them or having ABS will (although ABS off road isn't necessarily a good thing).

There has always been talks with getting a small Mitsu group together on the east coast, mainly in GA. Me and a few members planned a trail run where there was atleast 5 Raiders (if I recall). I was on my way down almost out of NC and had to cancel last min So I've been wanting to get a small group together since that. That was 6 or so years ago. I'm down
