Thanks for the help. It was the motor. Found a used one and it runs again.

Frank, I checked the voltage as you said and it shows 12.8 volts at all speeds but the different speeds are working. Not sure what that means but am happy to be warm again. It?s about -5 here.

It probably means you were measuring voltage before the resistors instead of after. Glad it's fixed. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I measured at the 2 prong green plug that goes into the motor itself.

i havent looked at how its setup but the resistor may be on the ground side of the circuit.
