Thank you very much for your replies, Jim & Steve. I haven't contacted any charities yet, but my co-worker's friend is interested in the Trooper, as he has an old car and needs something more reliable. So, instead of donating to a charity, I'll give my Trooper to him as is. He's willing to spend the money to rebuild (estimate he got is $2,400), so it should become a good transportation for his family. I'd love to see this Trooper to be in someone's service, instead of becoming parts.

It was a great truck to own, with no problems other than this transmission problem. Had a lot of fun in many places, especially at Moab ZuZoo. I'd promised my 5 year-old son that I'll take him to Moab next year, but we won't be able to do it with the Trooper.
