Can't remember. It was a bolt I used from one of three sources:
1. A bolt attaching the manual locking hub

2. A bolt attaching my upper ball joint

3. A wheel stud / lug bolt

EDIT: I believe the bolt size is 10mm x 1.50

Make sure the shaft is sticking out parallel to the floor. This will maximize its extension. Probably need to put a jack underneath and bring it up to horizontal.

GEEEEZZZZZ, that's downright DANGEROUS.

With as many metal shavings that are shown, you would most definitely need a new/used hub and disc... and yes, there is a snap ring that goes on the end.

x2

Its been awhile since I've had the entire hub assembly off... but I don't remember my hub bolt holes being open on the inside. Looks like the hub has been wallered out on the inner surface to the point the threads are exposed.

BTW, if the outer face of the hub came off without the innerds coming with it, things were not assembled correctly. Reference the articles I sent you after you PM'd me to learn the correct way. The spring should be attached to the hub face.

Sean is right. Your hub is toast. Not even close to being serviceable.

At this point, I would suggest finding a good junkyard local to you and start by pulling the entire wheel hub assembly. You are probably going to need most of the associated parts to get this one back on the road.

I am also very worried you have damaged the spindle also.

The bonus of the junkyard parts is that if the bearings look good, then I would have no qualms using the entire assembly. Isuzu bearings are HUGE for the trucks they support and they rarely fail. Yours did. They are also not going to be cheap and I would not be surprised if they are a) Isuzu only parts or b) special order from Koyo. I could be wrong, like I am multiple times a day.

You won't know until you get everything apart and cleaned up. I would get yourself several cans of brake clean and go to town. I would suspect you are looking a a minimum of an axle, hub, bearings, seals, a c-clip and most likely it looks like you chowed up the lock ring and axle nut. That then gets you to fixing whatever is wrong with your hub.

Sorry for the less than optimal news. It is fixable, but it is going to require some time and parts.

Good Luck,
Michael

the bearing failed becasue my hub locking nut wasnt on. i took the races out of the bearing last night and the hub surface looks clean and not gulled up. I go the remaining inner bearing also off the truck last night, and that surface also looks good

They are kinda spendy...I just did one of the wheel bearings on my 93 and paid ~$90 at Carquest for inner and outer bearing and grease seal...and that was with a discount. Retail was ~$130 or so IIRC. Stick with Japanese-made bearings, no Chinese.
