It had sat all summer before i bought it in october, but the prev owners said they started it up periodicly. when the old pump WOULD engage, it didn't bog down or cut out. I guess i'm going to change the fuel filter and see what happens. I'll probablly go ahead and take the pump back out and chen the screen filter in the tank, however this is a new screen filter. Also, the old pump didn't have a screen filter on it...fyi...don't know if thats what caused the pump failure or perhaps caused a blocked line.
