Roll Me Over
if it cranks (which it sounds like it does) and is getting fuel (sounds like it is) that leaves fire. mix in a tune up and check your connections to the dizzy and ecu. while your at the ecu see if it smells fishy.
btw, since its a manual... try making it start, cant hurt.

Ok last post for now sorry. It has to be somthing simple i think but and ideas anyone has would be awsome. Now i had a friend pull me from my work place were the truck died back to my place and in the process for the hell of it i tried jump starting it (oh yeah its manual im an idiot and leave out details ha ) and in the process it started but died soon after - and i did give it gas but died even quicker. So anymore suggestions would be awsome and thank you and i hope some of you get a good use out of that manual , youll never need another and its accurate , and i guess the Pajero (RAider) is big in russia thats what the pdf files are off of

Mine would fire off, run for a short period and then die. After waiting 1/2 an hour the same and so on. Showed spark most of the time. In the end it was the optical sensor in the dizzy.

Tach may not last long without lc filter. I'd find a good one and put it on. Did lc filter go bad as short to ground? That alone will kill the spark. Otherwise, I think it would not have an effect on spark, just on tach operation.

I am glad you found it so quick. It took me a couple of months and a lot of help from the Forum before I found it was the optical sensor. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
