Getting the Wheeling Fever
I have been running bosch spark plugs in my 1996 toyota t100 sr5, and am wondering how much of a difference it would make if I put the OEM Denso plugs in it. Sometimes it has more power than it does other times doing the exact same things in the exact same conditions. Does anyone know what the exact Denso plug that came with the truck?

Body Damage is Cool
Denso K16TR11

or

NGK BKR5EKB-11

The FSM usually lists part numbers for both NGK and Denso, since they are the recommended brands. OEM is usually Denso.

Most people on here have found that Toyota engines HATE Bosch plugs. They work fine in german cars, but for whatever reason, the imports do not do well on them.

*EDIT* I'm assuming you have the V6 since you said SR5. Not sure what the 4 banger part numbers are.

I don't know the exact plug number but when I bought them at the dealer the denso plugs were ridiculously cheap.

Had the CEL come on while on a road trip - checked the code, needed new plugs. Put some Bosch in from the Advance/AutoZone and it ran terrible. Swapped them out for some Densos at half the price and it ran great...

I think this might help out a little. The engine puts out 195hp from the factory and i know that my 35's and lift may not help for power but i think im going to order some denso plugs and see how it runs. thanks for the help ill let you all know what happens.
