Had a problem with my truck shifting yesterday, it wouldn't go into gear when rolling, but would whe stopped, so after doing some reading on the board I determined I needed to get a new clutch M/C and slave. After getting everything swapped and bled I took it for a drive and it was shifting fine again, but the clutch pedal throw was extremely short. So after messing around with it I ended up just pulling on the pedal and it came out to where it should be (sounded like some fluid had gotten behind the piston). So now the throw was correct, bled everything again, checked the slave, travel looked good when clutch was depressed. Went for a test drive and couldn't get it back into gear again, back up my driveway after wrestling it into 1st to my garage smelled like I smoked the clutch and now I get a scraping sound when the clutch pedal is depressed, sounds like flywheel on clutch disc. So, guess I need to drop the transmission cause I think I destroyed my clutch, any input on this? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> Never had to drop the tranny or mess with the clutch before.
