This set of d44 are from an early bronco. They have 4.11s or 4.10s in them I dont recall. I could get the set cheap but I dont know what they look like inside that and I can not fabricate. The steer axle is rigged up with some disc brakes from a Suzuki sammy I believe. Tempting to buy them and hold onto them just incase I do get to that stage. The set for $200.

Tag, I think I remember reading somewhere that some of the early D44s had different knuckles than later units. I want to say there might be a difference in the balljoints (kingpin even?). I also think that I remember a potential diffence in the spindle bolt pattern (five bolts instead of the more common six bolt pattern). This is not to be confused with the wheel bolt pattern.

You should probably do some searching online. If either one of these is true, then you might want to hold out for a newer D44 because junkyard parts will be more plentiful and you will be able to hub it to matching six lug wheel bolt pattern. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
