No rust around my sunroof or seal, as far as I can tell. The rubber seal though is another story, deteriorated badly, need to replace. ~ 20 y.o. rubber just about at it's life's end !!! All Gen I owner's doing routine maintenance on their rigs: take a look at all of your rubber (i.e. hoses, belts, bushings, window seals/gaskets, etc., etc.).
