But doesn't "perfectly compatuble" have to be defined in terms of needs? As in, Diamante engine is not the exact same as a Montero. It can go in, and very well might be worth having in. But it depends on the needs.

Similarly, some variations could need some form of "fitment" to make them work. Maybe nothing much, but not necesarily plug-and-play like a Montero engine.
