Body Damage is Cool
I hit a big deer, with the right front of my jeep.I was coming home from work on the same ol backroad and out of nowhere there he was.damn thing got away too, left my jeep broken up,me shaken, both my wife and kid upset and not even one steak out of the deal.I know i hit it hard enough to disable him,but the officer and I both couldnt find him. I have a feeling he pretty much dropped right on the other side of the guardrail in thick brush that we couldn't see into.

On the brighter side a guy on craigslist(thankies BJ for intriducing me to that site) has the front grill, headlights header panel for 150 and we are going to work out a deal once i figure out what all i will need.

out of all the jeeps in this town the d**n gremlin had to invade mine

I've done so much, with so little for so long i can practicly do anything with nothing

Glad to hear your all safe and sound. Thats the biggy!

Good to hear it is only the front stuff!

Sorry to hear you'll have to spend the loot for the stuff!

Got pretty lucky I'd say. Glad you're okay.

I need to get off my dead butt and get some Hellas stuck on my rigs for the moose-- now THOSE will drain a guy's wallet if they don't kill ya.

I made a call to dad to see if there was any of the 4 inch and 1.5 inch steel water pipe left that i got from a demolation. well there is and quit a bit so this xmas when i go down to see family I will try to fit as much as i can to bring back.I need a good ol fashioned pipe bumper with grill and light guards.I mean the kind that would make BJ proud .

since I got off work at 2 today i brought the jeep in the shop and started to rip it apart. My wife has school at 5 so I had alot to do and a short amount of time to do it.well next thing i know I have it mostly together at 4 which is the time i set myself to get cleaned up and be home on time for the wife to use her car(xmas shopping after school).
All I have left is finish bolting down the front nose and put the lights in.Quite shocking concedering i had to contend with 19 year old rusted bolts, nuts and a bent up inner fender. That I took a block of wood and hammer to,Came out quit nice and after i bolted the fender up i checked hood and door gap and it was right on. heck i am begining to think i am in the wrong buisness.

Just make sure you can change your headlights, if they're the kind that pop out the front!
