I hate to admit it but I sold my 90 Montero LWB I was amazed that it brought $4500. I have jeep fever and am looking for a cj-7. thanks for all the help on here.

I hope you made the right decision!

Pics of your Gen1 LWB has a place of honour in my photo collection.

It will have to be one very special Jeep that replaces that Monty!

Nice Monty, and I'd say a good price for it. I can see the appeal of Jeeps, so good luck with your search.

JD, well...I, too, have other 4x4 interests. However, I can't knock my Raider.

If I had to have a Jeep CJ7, it'd have to be a 304 (360/401) automatic with full-time 4wd. Dark blue with tan interior and 33's on the old Jeep wheels.

Cheers and sadness.

Damn, if someone offered me $4500 for one of mine, not sure just what I would do. That's a tempting amount...

Ive always dreamed of one of them. My dad will probly never EVER let me get one as long as hes alive for a good reason tho

One of my dads friends bought one BRAND NEW not sure what all options it had but a purdy swank rig from what I understandand had it for a while like 2wks or so when the motorcross people come to town.

So he gets the great idea of taking him and some of his buddies out in his little Jeep w/ the BIG 304 V8 to the motorcross track and jumping stuff........ You can only imagine the fun that happened and then like all good things it came to an end. With him rolling his BRAND NEW Jeep after jumping it across various motorcross jumps. My dad said when his buddies wife showed up she was um........ a lil angry

I pity that fool
