I heard that on Drudge there was an article about 20k troops to be deployed in the US. Here's the opinion of Glen Beck Transcript, and I have to say this worries me.

Most of the American public is also unaware that the FEMA football has us under martial law within 10 days; food and water supplies start getting guarded and rationed within about 4 days. We've seen glimmers of this with natural disasters and the like, but we go on with our lives.

Military isn't going to be doing a lot with a biological attack; they are ill-prepared at best. Even in civil defense plans, decontamination of a large amount of people and containment of any waste stream is pretty much non-existent in most plans. Cities can barely manage their storm drain runoff, nevermind contamination that's truly dangerous.

But - I seem to recall there was another active duty full time deployment before that - in Washington DC.

Read it, nothing really to get alarmed about, there wasn't any info as to where they were being deployed. For all we know they could be being deployed to federal buildings around the country, not being deployed to some city or state.

Though the event Beck speaks of could be just around the corner if there is anything to Obama not being a natural born citizen.

I think the feds got an inkling of what insurrection looks like from the Rodney King ruling, and it put them in a tizzy. To me, 911 falling into their lap just made the rest of it easy.

20K troops....that's 400 per state.... so what?

Would you rather have a few full time troops on call 24/7 or Joe Blow National Guard guy that make Barney Fife look good...?
