Exactly. While the Glock doesn't have a traditional safety, you still have to pull the trigger to get it to discharge. Had he not been fingering the trigger it would not have gone off. Of course his attorney is going with an accidental discharge to reduce the severity of the situation. It is a lot easier to get a slap on the wrist for an accident then to try and explain why you were playing with the trigger of a loaded gun in a crowded night club. One shows it wasn't your fault, the other shows your complete disregard for the safety of your fellow man. Hopefully the Ass. DA or Judge has an understanding of Glocks and will see through the accident claim.
