My point is the trigger is the only safety device on those Glocks. If he fumbled for the gun he could have accidentally gotten his finger to depress the two piece trigger. That being the only safety the same situation has happened with Glocks many times. Remember that story I told you guys about the NSA guy in the Homewood Hotel in Greenville? Same deal, he fumbled for his Glock and got his finger in there and blam.....'I'm stupid and should have bought an HK'

I have had my G22 for almost 14yrs now, and have never almost pulled the trigger by accident, and I have carried it both as a side holster and shoulder harness. I have practiced removing it from both w/a round in the chamber while on the range and have never had my index finger on the trigger. I practice both not for home safety but for the back country, since that is where I carry it. My finger is just entering the guard about the time I am at full draw.

There really isn't an excuse, because the user is aware that there isn't a traditional safety on it , and if it was common, especially amongst law enforcement, people would have sued Glock long ago and it would no longer be being used.

Boy i never said it was a bad design nor did i say every person with a Glock will shoot themselves. I know many folks that are not dipsh!ts and have not shot themselves with thier Glocks. I just made the HK comment because they are a tactical weapon that have a real safety and that might help these idiots. Now as far as how often it happens, I've heard two stories within months of each other not to mention all the times that this has happened in the past. Yes they are dipsh!ts but the gun that is notorious for this is Glock. Sue Glock? I dont think so buddy as they are supposed to be tactical weapons NOT safe little purse guns for idiots.
