If you're going to gripe about someone, at least let the rest of us know where the shop/business is located.

Ya get what ya pay for. Any place that has "Discount" in their name, usually means dicounted service, or lesser quality.
Isn't a Jeep for off roading anyway? And hence a few scratches expected?
Two MRI's and a CAT scan....it's confirmed. I'm just not right in the head.

mine sees offroad about twice a summer to pull out friends otherwise its my DD. i polish the wheels atleast once a month even in the winter. i like to keep my jeep looking clean. idk why its just the way i feel about it. even after i pull a friend out it gets washed right away.

I have heard good and bad things about Discount tire, even though my experiences have been pretty good at the one I frequent. Even though I must say they did refuse to take my wheels/tires off and balance my tires because they said I needed flange lug nuts vs the acorn tapered ones I had on there. I came on here plus did some of my own research and took it back and told them they were wrong. So then they balanced/rotated the tires plus transferred my spare tire to a new rim I had for only the cost of the mounting/dismounting of the spare tire. Keep in mind these weren't tires that I had purchased there.
My other experiences were pretty good, they patched the old set of 235s I bought from them or replaced them if nessecary with no issues (and those tires were nail/debris magnets so it was a few times). But like I said I guess it all depends on which one you go to, have heard plenty of negative stuff to go with the good.

Personally, I've had nothing but good experiences with Discount Tire for many, many years and from multiple locations.
And no, I have no affiliation with them whatsoever. Just a satisfied customer.

Good luck on that one... I took my Raider in for a balancing and rotation at the local KOST tire center. The guy used the wrong impact socked and chewed the inside of each and every lug hole. They told me I was SOL.
BTW, the BBB doesn't do $hit about anything. Just my personal experience.

That sucks. I had a similar problem with Discount in Knightdale NC. I have 6lbs Volk racing rims on my Miata and Discount chipped the paint and let the rims slip on the machine leaving grooves on the inside of the rim. I was pi$$ed as I had told them to be really careful because I was selling the rims and had a buyer waiting. This also meant I had pictures of the rims (for selling purposes) before I took them to Discount. I got the same attitude you did from the manager. I spoke to a guy in the corporate office and told him the rims cost $1600 (which they did, although not out of my wallet), I was selling them for $1000 but now because of the damage my buyer only wants to pay $500 (which was true), so Discount can either replace the rims or give me $500 in compensation. After I sent him the before and after pictures he agreed to send me a $500 check which he did. In the end I kept the rims...
Anyway, the moral of this long and dull story is keep on at them and you should get somewhere. Good luck
