Jenssen seems to have joined the wire now, thanks for the shop time. Thanks to his wife for doing some stellar welding her first try.

I like that look, but all that work for so little gain in bedspace? Im sorry but I don't see a whole lot of practicality in that.

Can't please everyone

Nice work though.

Can't believe no-one's commented on the tires yet...

They were too busy looking at the sheetmetal...

Just for grins, here's what she looked like, waaaaayyy back, pre-Eric, when I had just rescued her from the previous owner, brought her home, and slapped 33x950s on her. Small pic, but you get the idea. The dude has brought her to a whole new level!

Wow, way to go Jenssen. A gal who not only takes an interest, but an active interest. And judging by what isn't hiding behind the the helmet, she looks to be easy on the eyes to boot. Lucky basta'.

HAHAHAHA I am not in the wrong section,.... Cars/Trucks don't know what badge they have on them so I don't scrutinize,... Sure I poke fun,.. but I also poke fun at my junk

A cool build is a cool build, besides I think I would just scare the guys in the Jeep section here

Thanks for the compliment. As far as the use goes it really started with a joke and escalated from there back when Phil still owned the truck. I do like the fact that when my 4runner was cut like this I never had gas cans or fire wood inside the truck. I could carry a fullsize barbeque. Parts from the wreckers and not get hit in the back of the head with stuff on the trail. Not that I dont tie things down but small stuff is harder. A few times I've had a small item make it from the back to the windshield Or that time I was going up this little hill and all my stuff up front hit the back window. I had to get out and kiss the ground after that one. I dont care for a load of fire wood to the back of the head. Besides I lost well over a 100lbs of weight and thats great.

Think of it as a roof rack without the wind resistance.

Do you have any interior shots. I was curious how much room you had behind the back seats. Otherwise I love it, i understand how that can be very useful. A little roll bar in the back with the spare tire mountted at an angle like the Trophy Trucks would be cool.

Nice work again.

When I get a chance I will take some interior shots aas well. There is lots of space behind the seats for storage. Roll bar is Jenssens department
