The part that gets me a little jammed up is when I think about how the lower right of the door is clipped, and then how to get the hinges low enough to have it work like a real tailgate.

Then again, it might be more work that it's worth in that the spare will need a swing-out mount to be fabbed as well.



Well I'm sold on that one. I was thinking of using the latches from an old toyota box. Personaly I love the old school kind of stuff and it would be easier I think. I guess I will pull it off again and see what can be done. I dont have a rear bumper so at least its not in the way. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

I think to get it to work properly I may have to split the gate at the bottom. And of coarse convince Jenssen to let me back into the shop this weekend. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
