The hardest part for me was making the roof line up again. Its tapered so it doesn't match up. Plus the ribbing in the roof has to be cut and laid flat again. It wasn't to hard but took a lot of time to do.

Closing in the box I made easy by making 1 inch square tube frame around the top. Just attached the sheet metal to that.

I did this chop for two reasons. One was lose some weight in the back for heavier loads and two was to keep gas and oils out side of the cab. So its been cut to fit that use and nothing else. It fits two spare tires, two 5gal cans, my bike, straps and oil. The seat is pulled out of the back and that area is for dry storage of all my gear. The interior is also stripped out to lose more weight. Its amazing how much I've lost doing that. Plus all the 22cal shells I pulled out.

Oh and I'm putting in a tube rear gate now to fit my tires length wise. Hope this helps.

(edit) I have the wiring pulled back to hook up the rear defrost again and also the rear overhead light. I could put the wiper assembly back in also but I don't think its worth the work.
