So you're getting the parts from Nigel today?

Am I to infer from your recent comments that you're cutting off MORE? NO NO NO. Get it finished first, and THEN if you want to revisit, then do it then. You're on a deadline, remember? Get the running gear running. We need you ready for Moab!

Thats cool how much dead space is there when you boxed the side walls? I am thinking of leaving mine open make it more like the truck beds today but renforce the top bed rail area. Thanks for the ideas that is cool how the remaining top was a good base for the back wall. how much remainder if any did you have?

The plan was to cut a lid into those side panels for some storage of straps and what not. There is strip of roof 2.5-3 inches long hanging in the shop. Thats all that was left over. I do have 33" of new chopped roof waiting to be used now though.

Thats good. Sharpe idea with the side storage boxes. that should work out well. I am looking forward on mine, but it is going to have to wait a bit. i also took another look at the tailgate and it is amazing that both hinges are on the lower part so when you cut below the window you still have a full strength door. I stil think I rather have an actual tailgate than a swing out door. We shall see.
