Hey, whichever size the front diff is, at least you'll be able to get cv's easily enough if you need em... Front lockers are unnecessary anyway - they just put you further into trouble where your buddies can't follow... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

Yup it turns out the front diff is the small one. Judging by the CV's anyways. Good news really in the end as it means I have lots of parts for it from the 4.88 set I already have. Toasty the front ring and pinion is yours if you want. The rear is small to, like an 8 inch from a 4cyl. But if you want it it is yours.

But the 4.88 front is out and the 5.29 is prepped to go in. UCA's are in and More parts on the way (bushings, ball joints and what not).

And the T-bars are the same as mine, but I'm sure in much better shape.

89 Montero as chopped as can be. Now with 5.29's
