Coming apart nicely! Hope you didn't leave your phone there! We don't want a repeat...

Judging by the rest of the truck, the LSD is probably like new too!

Hey, whichever size the front diff is, at least you'll be able to get cv's easily enough if you need em... Front lockers are unnecessary anyway - they just put you further into trouble where your buddies can't follow...

Have you measured the t-bars yet?

Yup it turns out the front diff is the small one. Judging by the CV's anyways. Good news really in the end as it means I have lots of parts for it from the 4.88 set I already have. Toasty the front ring and pinion is yours if you want. The rear is small to, like an 8 inch from a 4cyl. But if you want it it is yours.

But the 4.88 front is out and the 5.29 is prepped to go in. UCA's are in and More parts on the way (bushings, ball joints and what not).

And the T-bars are the same as mine, but I'm sure in much better shape.

All in all I'm very happy.

Well I took the monty for a drive last night. Not far, just down the ally and back. Seems to drive ok for how far I went. So my gen2 drive train is all hooked up. I'm the proud owner of rear disks and 5.29's now. Body is pretty close, but I haven't been working on it much.

Here's a new pic.

Damn. That looks incredible. I'm amazed that you took the time to integrate all of the body contours....

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

It used to, but this year I would have to say no. Its been a very crappy summer and I never leave the garage.
