I'm working on the truck now. I think he may have stolen half of it.

I must admit that there were times I thought I'd never see betsyIII run again... I'm thrilled to see her fifth iteration is her best one! When it's close to done we should do a shakedown/camping trip.

You guys might've figured this one out already, but Eric is truly an artist with metal, though he'll never admit it.

More like a finger painter. Or one of those painters that just flicks the brush near the canvas. This is my first sheet metal project. Other than using a jack all on my sami to put a fender in its place after making love to a tree.

Sorry Phil the rust belt parts are gone. A lack of BetsyII parts now. I did keep the corner window with the east coast sticker in it though.

Who was it on this board that painted part of their hood flat black? I'm wondering if it helped a lot with glare or if it was for looks.

Truck looks great dude! very professional. I painted the center of my hood because the sun down here had faded part of the center but yes flat black makes all the glare go away.

I did it like they do on the Chargers [Linked Image]

I painted the entire hood of my gen1 and it helps out tremendously on glare. I will try to find a picture later, but look in my post history and you can find it yourself.

Sometimes its all about the little things. Removable step to access the roof rack.

Paint is here. Got a slightly different blue. Same paint code, but the Ausie verision. Its is a different color mix.

I'm staggered by the level of your skill with this. You do VERY nice work, and I look forward to seeing the end result!
