Was gonna show a coworker the amazing work you've done from beginning to end but you took your old pictures down!! Any way you can put them back up?

Will a single post with a series of shots work? I forget which pics went where in the thread and reorganized my photo bucket. I can slowly rebuild the thread to I'm sure.

Edit. I can't go back to edit my old posts so I will do a quick over view and post the pics back up.

At this point I think I was trying to figure out what I had gotten into. Little did I know how that question would answer itself.

After the first weekend it looked like this.

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

Right around this time I broke the front diff. It proved very hard to find a new one locally and progress was lost on the truck. I took a break from it and rebuilt my sami as I had all the parts to do so.

It was like this. Stock axles, 31's and a swift gti motor.

[Linked Image]

It was repainted and got new tires. First trip it broke in a major way. T-case, both diffs and the drive shafts were wrecked. So on to the toyota parts.

Poor monty sitting in the back ground.

So I think at this point I was trying to track down diff and steering parts for the truck. As well as try to get it all closed in.

I had decided in my infinite wisdom to try and get the truck ready for moab. Slap the rear body work together and I bought JDM gen2 parts from nigel to fix the drive line.

Then something happened to my brain once again.

I think from here on the pics work again, but lets continue the cliff notes.

[Linked Image]

Starting the window frame again.

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

I didn't make the dead line for the trip.

When I got back it was all about Jenssens jeep which has been seen in this thread before.

[Linked Image]

He had a comp coming up and we needed to rebuild most of the truck.

With that done and out of the way I was back to work at the end of July I think.

I did a little more work to the sami in the meantime as some bugs needed to be worked out.

[Linked Image]

Then on to the monty.

Put the back wall and sides together and was left with this before the trip to Moab. The thing on the back is a clam shell tent. Was my initial plan to use this on the monty.

[Linked Image]

Now to the shop where all the drinking happens.

Built floors.
[Linked Image]

Started filler to see how the pieces would look together.
[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

At this point I had my gen2 parts with 4.88's to install. But I also have a toy E-locker with 4.88's so I was working on putting that in to. Never happened because I bought this.
[Linked Image]

Which came from this.
[Linked Image]

And had these.

Now with true motivation to get it done I thought about little else.

With a different idea for the rear I built this. I wanted to be able to carry two spares since I started phase 2.
[Linked Image]

So one on each side behind the cab was my solution.
[Linked Image]

More filler panels.
[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

and work on the tray.

[Linked Image]

Then with the help of beer, Jenssen and I decided a set of bolt on sliders didn't go with the theme of the build so we opted for integrated ones.

Now we should be caught up except for the floor of the tray.
[Linked Image]

I have planned out phase 3.
[Linked Image]

This is what I am designing for the back of the truck now. So this view is missing the cab of the monty in front of it.

Awesome stuff, Eric! I bought that same tie down track to put in the back of my Cruiser. How do you like it?

EDIT: Also, if you want rid of that Toy locker and it will fit in my FJ60, please let me know. Thanks.
