Well done! It looks like a mini tractor looking for a box trailer to pull around. Very nice!

It turned out really nice! I went for a little drive (shotgun) in it yesterday (coffee run), and it felt nimble. The visibility, excellent from the factory as you all know, was PHENOMENAL! Even with the 35s on, it was much perkier than it used to be, owing I'm sure to the weight loss and the 529s.
I did get inspired, and put mine on charge, and today it started up on the first turn, after sitting 3 weeks or so not plugged in! But I gotta get those snow tires on! Oh, and apparently I have to be more careful checking my PMs! Sorry O-Jon!! I'll get back to you soon.
Overall, as good as the chop looks in pics, it looks even better in real life!

Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm happy with the truck so far. It sure is a lot lighter then it was before. I haven't payed much attention to the fuel economy yet.It does however stop, start and turn much better then before. The roof rack is not on the truck often, but seeing as I built the cross bars I wanted to get a trip on the highway with it.
Oh and 300D50 I have been following your work. Very cool. I have had a couple D50's and like pick ups but I wanted to keep my bouncy seats. Now I have the best of both worlds.

Excellent job on the cab man, looks like it could have been a factory UTE option.

Excellent job on the cab man, looks like it could have been a factory UTE option. That would have made life to easy. Well I've put a bunch of miles on it now. A few minor problems with the truck as expected. Power steering blew out an O ring. Some sticky 4wd parts. Mileage has been ok I think. I just ran the first tank of fuel threw it. 321 miles to 20.3 gal. This is me driving the truck into the ground and trying to break it. Plus letting it warm up in the mornings due to the cold. About 16mpg I think. Not bad considering the driving style used on an auto non lock up truck. Best I could get before was 18mpg. Biggest difference is the driving feel. Cruise is no longer 65 mph cruise at more than 50% throttle to 75-80mph at 30% throttle. Braking is also greatly improved between the rear disks and the weight loss. All in all it worked out great so far. Next thing it really needs is a trans update.
