A little history. My jeep is 1989 and I just installed the Mopar MFI kit. The MIL light is lit and I tried to erase the code since I thought it was a leftover code from the initial install but the code 41 will not erase. Might be as simple as a burnt alternator. That is what I was told. However, when I try to erase the code using my AutoXray 6000 scan tool I can not erase the code 41. This tells me there is something still wrong. Any suggestion ? Possible bad connection or loose wire. I plan to recheck all alternator connections and put dielectric grease on all connections.
