Out in the desert this weekend I found, in a barn, a Jeep.. After some looking I believe it to be a 64 model. The odometer shows (under the dust) 16,000 miles. The Jeep is Jeep Green in color and has an extended body, from the factory. It has the front seats and the back seat and then it has aluminum tubing tall railings over the back fender wells.. And it has a padded seat and back rest on the rails on each side.. So it can seat... maybe 6 or 8 folks?
It has an overhead valve 4 cylinder and the tranny knob isn't marked.. The thing hasn't been started since 1971!
Oh yeah, no doors or top. Seems the ranch owner died in 71 and the ranch has been in control of a huge bank that has no idea what is out there..
Question: What in the hell is it? Worth anything?
I think I could take photos next week and publish here..
