I'm glad you said that. I need to rotate mine. Great point though. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

good point...that would only leave me with left to right or front to back not a clockwise or counter clock wise rotation...but i think i can live with that i get free tires..

Body Damage is Cool
If you have too much offset you will not be able to turn your wheels left or right without contacting something.

I just put on some 15x8 wheels with 4" back spacing and mounted some used 31" tires to see if I would get rubbing.

I couldn't even turn the wheels more than just a few degrees before I got rubbing. To large of an arc. You need to pull the front wheels in a lot to keep things from rubbing. The rears fit really well though.

You need close to 5" of back spacing to keep the wheels tucked in the fendars enough to keep from rubbing.

My stock 98 wheels have 5.25" of back spacing.

I have 15x8 rims, (4" backspacing), with 31x10.5 mickys. With just the 4 inch rsg, you have to trim. So if you want to save the front fenders just in front of the door bottoms, as well as all of the front bumber, you need at least a 1.5 body lift. If you don't mind a little trimming, they'll work just fine.

i believe i am running 3.5" backspacing on my 15x 8's with 31x10.5 tires. with the 4" rsg lift and the 1.5" body lift i still had to hammer out the fender and body seam just in front of the door. i also though am not running a front bumper cover, so i am not sure on if it would have rubbed there or not.

i am going to have to resort to a few mini truck lowrider tricks when i get my new tires on!

[color:"blue"]im just gonna play with the rims and tires i have...whats the widest rim that has been used? these look like 8-10inch i have some random rims so im sure something will end up working. by the way im only gonna run 30's less trimming less stuff in the way when the tire moves [/color]

edit: they are 8 inch wide so the ones with more offset will go in back..i have two 31's but im gonna run 30's probly from treadwright.com (i think thats it)
