Wasn't sure if the delivery truck would make it today, since we had road advisories, winter storm warnings, lots of snow, etc., but around 6:30 this evening, this showed up at my door:

I brought it around back...

...put it in the garage, and then when my wife came home we went for a little boot in the snow. Very strange to drive an auto, and hard to tell how it feels when everything is covered in fairly deep snow, but VERY good handling, ABS works well, shifted into AWD easily, rear heater and overhead heat ducts worked good... and even with questionable batteries, it started easily.

More pics tomorrow in the light, but just wanted to share for now. Been waiting quite a while for this one, and it looks, so far, like it was worth the wait. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Never again will you think a SWB is "enough" Pajero for you! Haha. Need more pics!

Congratulations!

..you must be getting very experienced at buying direct from Japan!
You'll get used to the A/T pretty quick. You'll miss the M/T most when you find you're braking a lot more when going downhill. But it's OK to downshift an automatic!

Looks like another brisk summer evening's weather in Calgary!
