i was out working on it earlier... how do you get the wire odd the lil black box next to the coil?
and the wire going into the coil for that matter.

it should be a square spring that wraps around the connector. just a flathead to knock them out of the way of the tab. I use my fingernail when I am rushing.

A little OT right now Hazey, but would you be able to make a list of harder to find parts you happen to have part #'s for? Everytime I goto NAPA they can never find parts. Including that module. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

The J21 transistor thing that talks to the coil is used on tons of vehilcles, 4 bangers and six.
The last thing I saw one on is a Geo tracker/Sam Sidekick.
