MORE COMON FOR THE FUEL PUMP TO BE DIEING, THAT ENG HAS SHEET METAL INTAKE GASKETS,AND ARE VERY THIN BUT VERY STRONG, THE LATER ENGS HAD THE MIKARTA (PLASTIC ) INTAKE GASKETS AND THEY WOULD BLOW OUT AND CRACK, IF OVER TORQUED EVEN A LITTLE, I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE OF THE OLDER STYLE GASKETS LEAK OR BLOW OUT , BUT I GUESS IT IS POSSIABLE JERRY
